Description:
Stamp on front and back covers of Luca da Penne, LECTURA SUPER TRIBUS LIBRIS CODICIS (Lyons, 1538); folio, bound in stamped pigskin over boards. One of several similarly-bound folio volumes with this marking from the Roman-Canon Law Collection of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (ABCNY). These volumes were probably acquired by the ABCNY in Europe before World War I.
