Description:
Stamp of an earl's coronet over a capital C. Acquired by Alexander Turnbull c. 1908 and included in his 1918 bequest.
Bibliographic Details:
Stamp found on the spines of two albums comprised of engraved illustrations and charts related to the voyages of Captain James Cook. The engravings date between 1777 and 1825.
